Jackson Township Invites Applicants to Fill Seat Vacated by Late Councilman Scott Sargent

The Jackson Township Council is seeking applicants to fill a vacant seat on the Council following the recent passing of longtime Councilman Scott Sargent, who served the community with distinction for decades.

Residents who are eligible and committed to public service are encouraged to apply for the position and help continue Councilman Sargent’s legacy of dedication to the township. Letters of interest must be submitted no later than Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

Once the application period closes, the Council may reach out to selected candidates to participate in interviews as part of the evaluation process.
