Jackson Township Announces 2025 Curbside Leaf Collection Schedule

The Jackson Township Department of Public Works (DPW) has released its 2025 Curbside Leaf Pick-Up Schedule, providing residents with an organized and environmentally responsible way to dispose of leaves this fall.

The DPW reminds residents to place leaves curbside no more than one week before their scheduled collection date. Leaves should not be placed on streets or sidewalks, as doing so can create safety hazards for children walking to school, pedestrians, and motorists.

Collection Guidelines

According to the DPW, residents must follow several guidelines to ensure the collection process runs smoothly:

Leaves should be placed in a neat row at the curb, not in the roadway, and no more than 10 feet from the curb.

Bagged leaves will not be collected.

Only leaves will be accepted — no brush, branches, or grass clippings. Mixed piles will not be picked up.

Residents are responsible for any leaves left behind after their scheduled week.

2025 Leaf Collection Schedule

Zones 4 & 2: Week of November 10

Zones 5 & 1: Week of November 24

Zones 3 & 7: Week of December 8

Zones 6 & 8: Week of December 22

Leaves must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the first day of the assigned collection week.

For questions about collection zones or additional details, residents can contact the Jackson Township Department of Public Works at 732-928-1311 or visit www.jacksontwpnj.net. A township zone map is also available to help residents identify their collection area.
