Three pedestrians, including two juveniles, were injured Friday night after being struck by a car while crossing Manhattan Street, township police said.
The crash was reported at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Manhattan Street near Beam Avenue. Responding officers determined that an adult and two juveniles had been hit by a 2004 Volvo sedan as they attempted to cross the roadway, according to police.
All three were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The Jackson Police Traffic Safety Unit is investigating. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Officer Thomas Parise at (732) 928-1111.
