Jackson Police to Host National Night Out on August 5 with Free Family Fun at Johnson Park

The Jackson Township Police Department is inviting residents to come together for an evening of community engagement and public safety awareness at this year’s National Night Out, set to take place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson Park.

The event, part of a nationwide effort to strengthen police-community partnerships, will feature raffles, giveaways, food, drinks, and music — all completely free of charge. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with officers and learn more about various Jackson Police Department units, including the SWAT team, K-9 unit, traffic division, drone operations, motorcycle unit, and bike patrol.

National Night Out offers families a chance to meet the officers who serve their community, enjoy a festive atmosphere, and gain insight into the tools and tactics used to keep Jackson safe.

For more information, residents can contact Captain Sean Greenberger at 732-833-3004 or by email at SGreenberger@Jacksontwpnj.net.
