Jackson Police Department Marks “Take Your Child to Work Day” with Next-Generation Officers Taking the Spotlight

The Jackson Police Department marked its annual “Take Your Child to Work Day” with a lighthearted twist this week, highlighting the next generation of law enforcement in a series of staged photos and activities.

Chief Nelson led the festivities by introducing her “little guy,” Officer Mason Kinlan, setting the tone for a day that playfully imagined children stepping into their parents’ roles. Lt. Rob Reiff also participated, appearing alongside his son, Sgt. Rob Reiff, while SPO William Colangelo was joined by his son, PO Matt Colangelo. PO Mike Bollard similarly took part with his son, PO Josh Bollard.
