Jackson Police Department Swears-In 6 New Officers

The Jackson Township Police Department on Tuesday swore-in six new officers: Scott McGyver, Chloe McBride, Peter Lauria, Jared Pittman, Steven Schmidz, and Cole Michael Olejarz.

The new police officers were introduced by Police Chief Mathew Kunz before being sworn in by the Township clerk.

The Jackson Police Department has been on a hiring spree as it seeks to provide comprehensive coverage to Jackson’s residents, whose numbers have been dramatically increasing in recent years.
