The various neighborhoods spread across Jackson are all coming together to finish Shas l’iluy nishmas the late gadol hador and sar hatorah, MaRan HaRav Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim Kanievsky, zt”l.
So far, 16 neighborhoods in Jackson have joined this initiative, with additional ones joining soon.
The goal is to make a community-wide siyum on Erev Pesach, the day Rav Chaim zt”l would make his annual siyum on kol hatorah kulah.
