Jackson Announces Memorial Day Plans, Including Parade And Community Festivities

Jackson will honor America’s heroes with a Memorial Day Parade and celebration on Monday, May 26, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM.

The parade will kick off from Holman Elementary School, marching down Manhattan Street and concluding at Johnson Park, where a full lineup of events awaits attendees.

Following the parade, the community is invited to participate in a Memorial Ceremony to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States. The day’s festivities at Johnson Park will also feature food, vendors, live music, giveaways, and activities for children.

The celebration is expected to continue until 1:00 PM, giving families and residents an opportunity to reflect, remember, and connect in a patriotic atmosphere.
