Rumors are circulating about the potential closure of Kingda Ka, the world’s tallest roller coaster, at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson.
The rumor appeared recently on YouTube, with a video titled “Kingda Ka Rumors – Will Six Flags Actually REMOVE The Tallest Roller Coaster?” posted by Theme Park Recommendations. The video, which quickly attracted attention, suggests that Kingda Ka could be closed or even removed as early as next year. The host points to factors like high operational costs and maintenance challenges as possible reasons for the decision but emphasizes that these are unverified rumors without official sources.
Kingda Ka, reaching a towering 456 feet and propelling riders at 128 MPH, has been a defining feature of Great Adventure for nearly two decades. Visitors from all over the country flock to New Jersey to experience this iconic ride. It’s hard to imagine the park without its signature attraction, which also shares its structure with the popular Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom, another fan favorite that could be affected by any changes to Kingda Ka.
As of this report, Six Flags has not commented on the rumors.
Six Flags should fix up their entire park!
We had and have season passes that we won’t be renewing.
We went to number of other parks and they are cleaner, more seating and seating under shade, and the rides are smoother / and more comfortable. Six Flags has a lot to learn from others.
Stop with all this fake news Kingda Ka not going anywhere
