Hundreds of Successful Alumni Celebrate the 18th Anniversary of PCS/FDU Master’s in Accounting Program

Recently, PCS Agudath Israel celebrated the 18th anniversary of its PCS/FDU master’s in accounting program. Hundreds of alumni who are now successful accountants, businessmen, CFOs, senior managers, and controllers converged to network and show their appreciation to Professional Career Services and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Mr. Ralph Herzka, CEO of Meridian Capital Group and a member of Agudah’s Board of Trustees, gave the keynote address and shared an important message: “The impact that PCS has had on you and on Klal Yisroel’s parnassah is huge,” he said. “This came about because of the great efforts of the balabatim that built up this organization to what it is today. Now it’s your turn. In your own way, wherever you are – in shul, school or work – reach out and help others as well.”

“It was such a pleasure to see so many of FDU-PCS accounting graduates and former students at the accounting networking event,” said Ron West, chairman of the accounting department at FDU. “This program is truly a life changing career-oriented program that has such a positive impact on the lives of so many in the communities that we serve.”

“It was a gratifying and humble experience to see the incredible turnout and the outpouring of appreciation at the master’s in accounting alumni networking event. With a 98% employment rate, it was a great pleasure to see how successful our alumni have become and what a difference they are making in their communities,” stated Daniel Soloff, national director of PCS. “We have great appreciation to Gedaliah Weinberger, chairman of the board of PCS for his guidance, direction, and vision which have made the program the success that it is today.”

The PCS/FDU master’s in accounting program is rated amongst the best master’s in accounting program by Eduniversal and rated amongst the best universities by Forbes.

The next cohort of the accounting course will begin on June 4. With 8 placement coordinators and decades of relationships with hundreds of firms, PCS maintains a 98 percent placement rate.
