Howell Police Chief Pilecki Releases Statement as He Settles into New Position

Howell’s new police chief, Mark Pilecki, released a statement on Thursday as he begins his tenure as the top cop in Lakewood’s northern neighboring town.

His statement, released on Facebook, reads as follows:

Good afternoon to all,

As I take a moment from settling into my new position, I want to assure everyone that the town is in good hands. The quality of our service hasn’t changed. “Committed to Community” will always be our priority to the residents of our township. We will continue to perform to the best of our abilities. Your well being and safety are paramount to me. I will continue to update you on anything that may be of importance or that may affect us as a town. And as I have done so in the past, I will respond to major incidents to assist in bringing some normalcy and comfort to those in time of need.

I hope all of you enjoy your weekend.

Respectfully,
Mark Pilecki
