HISTORIC BLIZZARD: Snow Falling In Lakewood Region; Whopping 24-30 Inches Expected

A powerful winter storm is expected to bring blizzard conditions to Lakewood and surrounding areas beginning Sunday afternoon and continuing into Monday morning, with forecasts calling for up to 30 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Additionally, wind gusts could reach up to 55 miles per hour, significantly reducing visibility and increasing the risk of drifting snow and power outages.
