Hatzolah Smashes Vehicle Window To Rescue Child Amid Scorching Temperatures

A young child was rescued from a vehicle on Sunday afternoon after being inadvertently left inside amid soaring temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.

Hatzolah and Chaveirim were both called to the scene. Upon arrival, Hatzolah members broke the window of the vehicle to reach the child inside. The child received medical attention at the scene from Hatzolah personnel. Fortunately, the child was not seriously injured and did not require transport to a hospital.

  1. Please, don’t go down the road to bashing the parents. We’re all human and we all make mistakes. No amount of criticism or blame compares to othe eternal misery that these parents will wake up to every single day.

    • Disagree. Especially after all the recent publicity about this danger, there is NO justification for a parent forgetting, especially in “Ir Hatorah” . It shows something missing in our chinuich.
      When is the last time you heard of a Lakewood mother, who is careful about tznius, “forgetting” and running out of her house without stockings?
      It needs to be made clear…
      Not leaving your child unattended is worse than going iout without stickings

  2. I know that it can and does happen to all kinds of people. But it should not happen to the Am Hanivchar to whom human life is infinitely more sacred. And I stand by my comment, no Lakewood mother ever ran out forgetting tp pout on stockings.
