Hatzolah of Linden has acquired its third ambulance to meet the growing needs of the kehilla, which has been experiencing rapid growth.
Hatzolah of Linden has grown along with the kehilla and now boasts twenty full-time members as its monthly call volume increases month over month.
The new ambulance was generously donated by the Ausch family and was put into service shortly after Pesach. A l’chaim celebrating Hatzolah’s new addition was led by the Kossoner Rebbe and included local Rabbonim, askanim, and Hatzolah of Linden’s leadership.
Linden’s broader regional kehilla has expanded to neighboring towns, including Roselle Park, Cranford, Clark, Winfield, Rahway, and beyond, with approximately 500 families already residing there and more homes under contract to be purchased. The community boasts over a dozen shuls, with additional ones expected to accommodate the community’s growth.
The city’s recent expansion has been attributed to high housing prices in Boro Park and Williamsburg, prompting Chasidish families to move to Linden, where housing is more affordable, and the city environment is generally more relaxed.
