HATE IN JACKSON: Multiple Swastikas Found At Johnson Park

Police are investigating after multiple swastikas were found on poles in Johnson Park today.

The incident comes just a week after Ocean County Prosecutor Brad Billhimer placed an anti-hate trailer in Jackson, prompting outrage from some residents who claimed that there’s no anti-Semitism in Jackson.

Jackson Mayor Mike Reina gave Lakewood Alerts the following statement:

“I am deeply saddened to learn about this latest act of hate and stupidity. Police reports have been made, and they are being investigated. I’ve said it before, and sadly, I have to say it again, “hate had no home in Jackson”. We intend to prosecute all acts of hate and terror to the fullest extent of the law.”
