In a poignant display of kavod haTorah, Harav Malkiel Kotler shlit”a was melave Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch shlit”a from his home on Sunday morning, following a warm meeting between the two venerated Roshei Yeshiva.
During the meeting, Harav Moshe Hillel shared vivid memories of the shiurim he was zocheh to hear from his rebbi, Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l, describing them with deep emotion and recalling the formative impact they had on him as a young talmid.
The Roshei Yeshiva also discussed the pressing challenges currently facing the Olam HaTorah both in Eretz Yisroel and throughout the diaspora – from mounting financial strains on mosdos to broader societal pressures and influences.
Harav Moshe Hillel, the Rosh Yeshiva of Slobodka, arrived in Lakewood last week as part of a fundraising trip on behalf of his yeshiva.
