With the shiva for HaRav Shmuel Yehuda Levin zt”l ending Monday morning, an asifa was held in the packed bais medrash of Telze Chicago to announce the hachtarah of the late rosh yeshiva’s son, Harav Ephraim Mordechai shlit”a, as the new rosh yeshiva.
The announcement was made by HaRav Shmuel Yeshaya Keller shlit”a, who said that HaRav Ephraim Mordechai’s sterling middos and devotion to the yeshiva’s bochurim made him a fitting and worthy heir to his father’s shtellar.
