The venerated Rav Dov Landau shlit”a, Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka, embarked on a journey for be mechazek the Olam HaTorah by traveling to the United States on motzei shabbos. Philanthropist R’ Shimmy Glick provided a private jet for the Rosh Yeshiva’s transportation.
The Rosh Yeshiva has an important engagement lined up for Sunday, as he is set to deliver a speech at the grand Adirei HaTorah event, taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The trip comes shortly after he paid a shiva visit to the family of Rav Gershon Edelstein zt”l on Friday.
