Hagaon Harav Ezriel Auerbach shlit”a, one of the foremost poskim in Eretz Yisroel, arrived in the United States on Thursday morning in advance of the highly anticipated Adirei HaTorah maamad taking place this coming Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
During his stay in America, Rav Ezriel is scheduled to be in Lakewood, where he will visit local chadarim and yeshivos, engaging with talmidim and bochurim and imparting words of hadrachah and inspiration.
On Thursday, Rav Ezriel is scheduled to visit Yeshiva Nezer Hatorah (Rav Refoel Brus), Cheder Toras Aharon, Yeshiva Shaagas Aryeh, Mesivta Ohr Yisroel (Rabbi Greenfield), and Yeshiva Birchas Chaim. On Friday, Rav Ezriel is scheduled to visit Yeshivas Toras Chaim (Rav Mendel Slomovitz), Rav Refoel Rabinowitz’s kollel, the Lakewood Cheder, and the Prospect Vines shul.
A towering figure in the olam hatorah, Rav Ezriel shlit”a is the son of Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach zt”l, and the son-in-law of the posek hador, Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt”l. He serves as the Rav of Kehillas Chanichei HaYeshivos in Bayit Vegan and is revered across the world for his clarity in halachah and daas Torah.
