A grand opening event was held Thursday for the new Amerigroup Community Care Resource Center at the corner of Clifton Avenue and Main Street in Lakewood.
Attended by dozens of officials and organization representatives, the event highlighted individuals and groups critical to the Lakewood community, as well as the resources the center will be making available to customers of Amerigroup, which has enormously popular JerseyCare plans utilized by thousands of local residents.
The resource center will allow Amerigroup insurance plan members to meet one-on-one with company representatives and receive assistance in finding additional resources, referrals, doctor recommendations, and much more.
