Governor Phil Murphy has decided not to pursue the Democratic nomination for president, sources close to the matter have confirmed to the New Jersey Globe. However, Murphy may still play a role in the 2024 election, as he has been approached by national Democratic leaders to discuss a potential vice presidential candidacy.
Murphy had considered a presidential run if President Joe Biden chose not to seek re-election, but those hopes were dashed when Biden announced his candidacy. Despite this, Murphy’s experience and profile make him an attractive candidate for the vice presidency, particularly if the eventual nominee is looking for a running mate with gubernatorial and diplomatic experience.
Murphy, a two-term governor and former U.S. Ambassador to Germany, has a strong resume, having served as Democratic National Finance Chairman and chaired the National Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association. While he may not be seeking the top spot on the ticket, Murphy’s leadership skills and experience make him a viable contender for the vice presidency.

Phil will never be a federal candidate, sorry. He has the likability of a walrus. And he is the biggest wimp in politics.
As as aside, he should’ve stopped the persecution of Rabbi Eisemann years ago.
