GOP Frontrunner Jack Ciattarelli Visits Linden, Vows to Stand with Jewish Community

Republican gubernatorial frontrunner Jack Ciattarelli made a powerful statement on the campaign trail with a visit to Linden, New Jersey, where he met with members of the Orthodox Jewish community, local business owners, and volunteers from Hatzalah and Chaveirim.

Ciattarelli’s stop in Linden was one of many throughout the state in a packed day of campaign events. But it was in this tight-knit community where the candidate struck a particularly resonant chord. Touring the local shul, engaging with neighborhood leaders, and walking through area shops, Ciattarelli listened to residents’ concerns—especially regarding discriminatory zoning policies that community members say have unfairly targeted the growing Jewish population.
