Alex Zdan, a former TV reporter for New Jersey 12, announced on Friday that he will be seeking the Republican nomination for the US Senate seat currently held by embattled Sen. Bob Menendez.
“As a journalist, I always went where the story was. Now, I’ve gone to the border to see this crisis first-hand. We have to fix it,” Zdan wrote on X. “New Jersey: I will work hard to earn your vote. I’ll be a senator for you.”
