The Lakewood Police Department will be holding its monthly free car seat safety check for all at the Cedarbridge Fire House, 733 Cedarbridge Avenue, from 7-8 pm.
The event has experts in car seat safety checking seats installed in vehicles to ensure that they have been put in correctly and are in good shape to protect a child in the event of an accident.
In addition to checking the car seats, the safety experts will be helping parents who need assistance in properly installing the car seats, and will also be providing general car seat safety tips that are important for parents to know.
