As the Rennert family concluded the shiva for their beloved mother, Mrs. Frumit Rennert a”h, on the eve of Tisha B’Av, they released a message of gratitude, reflection, and purpose—announcing the launch of a new learning initiative in her memory.
“She took tremendous pride in the structured, Torah-centered programs that helped shape us,” the family wrote. “She especially valued those programs that offered focus and grounding during the after-school hours, on Shabbos and Yom Tov.”
In her zechus, the family is now spearheading a dynamic new initiative: enhanced after-school Torah learning programs currently operating in Lakewood Commons. The initiative serves both boys and girls of all ages, providing a warm and structured environment that fosters continued growth outside regular school hours.
The programs, already quietly underway, have shown strong success in uplifting the ruchniyus of participants while offering parents peace of mind. “In a world filled with distractions, this is our way of building stronger, brighter futures—one boy, one hour, one pasuk at a time,” the family said.
Looking forward, the Rennert family hopes to expand the model to other communities across the country, bringing the benefits of structured chinuch to even more families. They are now seeking partners to help realize this vision.
