EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Surveillance Footage Shows Vandal Toppling Ciattarelli Campaign Signs in Lakewood

Surveillance footage obtained by Lakewood Alerts shows an unidentified individual knocking over multiple Jack Ciattarelli campaign lawn signs near 7th Street and Madison Avenue.

The video shows a person walking along the sidewalk and deliberately toppling a row of signs supporting Ciattarelli’s gubernatorial bid. The individual then continues down the block before disappearing from view.

Under New Jersey state law, it is illegal to remove, damage, or deface campaign signage without authorization. Violators can face disorderly persons charges, which carry potential fines and a criminal record.

Local residents reported finding several campaign displays damaged or missing later in the morning. It remains unclear whether the incident was politically motivated or a random act of vandalism.

The Lakewood Police Department has not yet commented on whether an investigation has been opened.
