Emergency Responders Conduct Active Shooter Training At Manchester High School

The Manchester Township Division of Emergency Services conducted a comprehensive training exercise at Manchester Township High School. The training involved EMTs, firefighters, and Manchester Police, who jointly participated in active shooter training, bleeding control, and familiarization with the school’s layout.

The EMTs and police focused on responding to an active shooter scenario, practicing critical skills such as rapid response, patient assessment, and evacuation procedures. Additionally, they received training on bleeding control techniques to effectively manage injuries in emergency situations.

Meanwhile, firefighters conducted separate training exercises, including hoseline advancement, large area search, and Mayday procedures. These drills aimed to enhance their response capabilities in various emergency scenarios.
