DRAMATIC FOOTAGE: NJ State Police Rescue Patient After Cliff-Diving Accident

This past Wednesday, the New Jersey State Police Aviation North Unit and T.E.A.M.S. North Unit conducted a remarkable rescue operation in West Milford, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and expertise.

A cliff-diving accident in a remote and rugged area left a victim with severe injuries, prompting a complex and high-risk extraction. The crew, comprising pilots Trooper I. Keith Pronko and Sergeant First Class Sam Mantle, hoist operator Sergeant Evan Curtiss, and rescuers Trooper Domenick Cagnole and Trooper Juan Giglio, sprang into action.

Despite challenging weather conditions and difficult terrain, the team demonstrated precise coordination and unwavering commitment, ensuring the safe transport of the victim to Morristown Trauma Center.
