Do You Ride Lakewood Shuttle? Sign Up For Scheduling And Route Updates

Lakewood Township’s “Lakewood Shuttle” buses have seen their ridership steadily increase to over 100,000 rides a year and growing, connecting a growing number of neighborhoods to shopping centers and other key destinations across Lakewood.

Now, it is easier than ever for riders who rely on these buses to be up-to-date on any scheduling and/or route changes.

All you need to do is text “BUSLKWD” to 67283 and you will receive updates to your phone via text message as they get posted.

For those who do not have text messaging, or simply prefer another medium, you can receive updates via a phone call (text is converted to voice) or email by filling out a simple form. These forms can be found on Lakewood Shuttle buses and given to the driver, or can be found and submitted at the receptionist at Lakewood Town Hall (231 3rd Street).

Whether or not you are signed up for updates, you can always call the Lakewood Shuttle telephone hotline for updates at 361-BUS-LKWD.

“Public transportation is a vital component of modern Lakewood life, as it is relied upon by a growing number of residents and helps us reduce vehicle traffic on our roads,” says Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein. “We are continuously working to improve Lakewood’s public transportation system to make it as pleasant and convenient for riders as possible.”
