Deal Police Department Meets With Family Of Israeli Hostage In Gaza [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

The Deal Police Department on Wednesday hosted the mother and sister of Ori Danino, an Israeli abducted by Hamas on October 7 who is still being held in the Gaza Strip after 83 days.

The visit was orchestrated by The Special Children’s Center, which has been giving chizzuk to the family, including by taking them on trips and bringing them to meet various schools and officials.

Ori, who is 24 years old, was at the Nova Music Festival in southern Israel when Hamas attacked. He managed to escape, but returned to save more people – only to be taken hostage himself.

“Throughout all this darkness for Ori and his family, there is always hope and light,” Deal Police Chief Ronen Neuman said. “In Hebrew Ori means light. Let’s keep Ori, all the hostages and their families in our prayers.”
