Dates Set for Prosecution’s Appeal in Rabbi Eisemann Case

An appellate court has scheduled an accelerated appeal process due to the prosecution’s appeal being interlocutory, meaning it is regarding an ongoing case.

The prosecution has until October 24th to file their full appeal brief, after the defense will have until November 15 to file a rebuttal. The prosecution will then have one week to respond.

An accelerated appeal generally does not include oral arguments and is judged based solely on the merits of written briefs alone.

With legal fees for Rabbi Eisemann’s defense standing at over $100,000 per month, the defense fund has been severely depleted and an infusion of donations is urgently needed.
