Portions of Cross Street and 7th Street in Lakewood will be closed beginning Monday as road crews make improvements to the roadways.
Cross Street will be closed between Massachusetts Avenue and Augusta Blvd. all day, every day for about a week and a half as crews add turning lanes and making other minor improvements on the County-owned roadway.
Meanwhile, 7th Street will be closed between Mary’s Lane and Park Avenue between 7 AM this Monday morning and 7 AM on Monday, August 19. During the closure, crews will be removing and reconstructing the existing railroad crossing and approaches.
The precise timing of each of the projects are subject to change based on weather and other factors.
