Community Medical Center Announces Traffic and Access Changes for Visitors and Patients

Community Medical Center has announced several updates to campus access and traffic flow that visitors and patients should be aware of, including changes to entry points and drop-off locations. The adjustments are aimed at improving safety and easing navigation across the hospital campus.

Effective immediately:

  • Vehicle access from Hospital Drive is closed. All incoming traffic must now use the Route 37 West entrance near Riverwood Plaza.

  • Pedestrian access to the Main Entrance Lobby and the new Outpatient Entrance Lobby will remain open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Patient and visitor drop-off and pick-up is now limited to the Outpatient Entrance.

  • Parking remains unchanged. Patients and visitors are encouraged to continue using the complimentary Visitor Parking Garage, which offers convenient access to both lobbies.

For food delivery drivers, walk-in access via the Main Entrance on Hospital Drive is still permitted.

Maternity patients and their visitors arriving between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. must use the Outpatient Entrance and check in at the Outpatient Lobby Visitor Desk. This entrance is directly accessible from the new parking garage.

Those arriving outside of these hours must use the Emergency Department entrance.

The hospital is currently offering free valet parking at the Outpatient Entrance. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
