A child was critically hurt on Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle at Julius Way and Cross Street.
The vehicle in question reportedly – and as indicated by the photos – was driving on the shoulder of the road, striking the child, who was riding a scooter.
Hatzolah paramedics treated the young patient at the scene before transporting to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
