CHECK YOUR BALLOT: Lakewood Voters Urged to Double-Check Ballots After Early Voting Booth Issue Reported

Lakewood residents casting early votes are being advised to carefully review their ballots after a reported issue at a local polling booth. A voter reported that, after selecting candidates on the electronic voting machine, the printed summary paper showed only their choice for the Township Committee, omitting the presidential candidate they had selected. Polling booth staff reportedly responded that they were unable to rectify the issue.

Voters are being reminded to thoroughly check the review screen before finalizing their vote to ensure all selected candidates are accurately recorded. This additional step can help confirm that each choice is reflected correctly on the ballot printout.

Election officials encourage anyone encountering similar issues to report them to poll workers and, if necessary, contact the local election board for assistance.
