The Yeshiva of Philadelphia released the following statement on Sunday:
With tremendous שבח והודאה to the רבש”ע we are pleased to inform the עולם that the Rosh Yeshiva מורינו הרב שמואל ,שליט”א was released from the hospital and is convalescing at home. The Rosh Yeshiva expressed his appreciation for everyone’s continued tefillos on his behalf and requested that these tefillos continue that he have a total רפואה שלמה.
As the vast majority of the Rosh Yeshiva’s time is spent convalescing with further intensive physical therapy at home, the עולם is urged to continue to allow the Rosh Yeshiva his privacy.
