Relentlessly devoted members of Chaveirim of Central Jersey on Thursday sifted through mounds of garbage in the hopes of finding a pair of tefillin that had been lost.
Following hours of searching, the members determined that the tefillin was not in the dumpster where it had been suspected to have winded up.
However, the tefillin were found elsewhere and returned safely to their owner.
