Brookwood 4 Receives Jackson Planning Board Approval For Its Shul

The Jackson Township Planning Board unanimously approved Kehilla D’Brookwood 4’s shul-building project during its meeting on Monday night.

The shul, located on Aldrich Road, received project approval for a nearly 4,400-square-foot addition to an existing structure, which is around 3,000-square-feet. Both the original dwelling and the new addition will be converted into a shul, with various site improvements.

The architectural plans for the expanded site feature a 2,952-square-foot shul area, a 1,948-square-foot simcha hall, and a men’s mikvah. The development will also include 50 off-street parking spaces, with access provided via driveways on Aldrich Road and East Concord Concourse.

  1. Where are all these cars going to park when the lot is full? I live on E Conn Conc and on some nights there are 40 to 50 cars around the existing prayer house and all the walkers going to service. This is a disaster waiting to happen on a very busy road with people driving way above the speed limit with a blind hill thats going to contrbute to the dangers ahead.
