Brick Police Bust Father And Son Drug Dealers

The Brick Street Crimes Unit (SCU) last week concluded a drug investigation at a residence on Homestead Drive in Brick. Frank and Matthew Russo, a father and son duo, were stopped by the SCU in their vehicle prior to the search warrant at their residence.

During the traffic stop a K-9 Unit was requested and responded for assistance. The K-9 had a positive indication on the vehicle for the presence of drugs, which was impounded pending a search warrant. The Brick Police Special Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at the residence.

During the search of the residence, cocaine and heroin were discovered along with various amounts of packaging material used for distribution. Frank Russo, 68 years old from Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute cocaine, intent to distribute heroin, drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon.

Matthew Russo, 39 years old from Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute cocaine, intent to distribute heroin and drug paraphernalia. Frank and Matthew were processed at headquarters and lodged at Ocean County Jail.
