Breakthrough Internet Filter Brings Safety Solution for Frum Tesla Owners

For years, many frum families have grappled with a unique and serious challenge: Tesla vehicles come equipped with full internet access on a 16-inch dashboard screen, with no built-in way to block it. While Teslas have become increasingly popular for their convenience, cost savings, and advanced technology, the unrestricted browser access has posed a serious risk — especially in an era where nisyonos are stronger than ever.

The concern is not only about intentional browsing during long drives. Even a brief moment — leaving a child in the car while running inside to grab something — could lead to exposure to inappropriate media. Until now, no true solution had been found.

Elon Musk intentionally designed Teslas with open internet access, in line with his belief in unrestricted digital freedom. Because of the way Tesla’s software is engineered, creating a filter or block has been nearly impossible. Over the years, many attempted fixes, from software tweaks to physical alterations, proved either ineffective or unsustainable.

Now, a breakthrough has emerged in the form of TesGuard, a software solution developed by Nesanel Moeller of The Penguin Group and Chaya Fischman of BrandRight Marketing Group.

The innovation builds on Tesla’s existing Valet Mode, a feature originally designed to limit functionality when handing over the car to a valet. TesGuard repurposes Valet Mode into a powerful safeguard, programming it to automatically activate whenever the car is parked or idling.

The software includes key features:

Automatic Protection: Valet Mode switches on when the car is parked or charging, instantly disabling the browser.

Seamless Driving: When the vehicle begins moving, Valet Mode turns off, keeping the driving experience fully intact.

Accountability Alerts: If TesGuard is tampered with, disabled, or bypassed, Valet Mode re-engages automatically, and a designated shomer is notified. Alerts are also sent if the browser is used to access media.

Critically, TesGuard does all this without affecting the car’s warranty, battery, or software. No hardware or physical modifications are needed — installation is as simple as connecting the vehicle through an app.

With Teslas now priced comparably to many sedans, and with self-driving capabilities offering unmatched convenience for frequent travelers, more frum families are considering the switch. Add in savings on gas and maintenance, and Teslas are increasingly appearing in frum neighborhoods.

For those families, TesGuard may be the answer to a long-standing concern.

TesGuard is now available to the public. Families can learn more and register at www.tesguard.org. The developers strongly encourage prospective users to carefully review the software’s capabilities before purchasing.
