The Jackson Township Council this evening unanimously approved the appointment of Mrs. Shira Parnes to the Zoning Board, making her the first ever frum resident to be appointed to the influential board.
Mrs. Parnes, a resident of the White Road area, is the self-described “energy nerd” founder and CEO of Ventura, a company that helps real estate and and healthcare center owners reduce and manage their utility bills.
Also appointed to the Zoning Board this evening was Rob Hudak, an ally of Councilman Marty Flemming and Clara Glory. Previous attempts to appoint him to the Board devolved into tit-for-tat political maneuvers and outright acrimony.
