Rav Simcha Bunim Cohen shlit”a and Rav Henoch Shachar shlit”a on Monday urged the Lakewood kehilla to heed the gedolei hador and leading rabbanim’s call to advance the kehilla’s cause of tuition relief and vote for Avi Schnall on November 7th
Notably, Rav Simcha Bunim is the grandson and a talmid muvhak of Rav Avigdor Miller zt”l – the gadol who anti-Schnall activists have been attempting to shoehorn into justifying their position and convince people that they should vote against him. His endorsement of Avi is the most clear evidence yet that they have no grounds for their anti-daas torah stance.
“Everybody who has the yecholes (ability) to vote should go out and vote for R’ Avi. It will be a big toeles for the tzibbur,” Rav Henoch said, not mincing his words.
