BREAKING: Jackson Council President Marty Flemming Stepping Down In Surprise Move

In a surprise announcement, Jackson Council President Marty Flemming announced that he will be stepping down from his position.

Flemming lost his mayoral bid versus incumbent Mayor Mike Reina, largely thanks to a massive turnout among Orthodox Jewish residents who backed the incumbent following a coordinated push by local askanim.

The council president was also recently in the news after he publicly defended Hatzolah from a Jackson resident’s bizarre complaints.
