BREAKING: Jackson Approves Resolution Settling Agudath Israel Discrimination Lawsuit

The Jackson Township Council on Tuesday evening unanimously approved a resolution to enter into a settlement with Agudah Israel of America over a discrimination lawsuit filed against the Township 7 years ago.

Additionally, the Council approved the first readings of two ordinances that will make it easier to establish shuls, schools and mikavos in the Township.

As previously noted by Lakewood Alerts, the Agudah lawsuit was led by Avi Schnall, who is now seeking a seat to represent the 30th Legislative District in the state Assembly.

Exact details of the ordinances approved tonight are expected to be revealed on Wednesday.
