Lakewood firefighters are at the Lakewood Matzah Bakery on Prospect Street after being called to the scene for reports of a fire breaking out.
Sources have confirmed to Lakewood Alerts that it is not a structure fire and there is no danger of the bakery burning down. However, there is a heavy smoke condition in the building, and all matzah baking work has been halted.
The matzoh bakery released a statement saying that the incident will not affect their matzoh production (see below for the statement)
