Bomb Threat Made on Flight to Newark, 2 Suspects Arrested

A man was arrested after reportedly making a bomb threat on an airplane flying from Orlando, Florida, to Newark, New Jersey.

Authorities were ready for the plane when it landed at Newark, instructing JetBlue Flight 2028 to a remote location at the airport before sweeping the plane with explosives-sniffing dogs and arresting the individual behind the threat.

Further details about the incident are currently sparse.

“The safety of our customers and crewmembers is JetBlue’s first priority, and we will work to support law enforcement with their investigation,” a company spokesperson said.
