While Lakewood Township hasn’t yet released its July 4th schedule, it is presumed that there will be fireworks at Lake Carasaljo, as there usually is (UPDATE HERE). However, if you don’t live in that part of town, or you simply don’t want to be stuck in a crush of people, there’s another option for you.
The Lakewood BlueClaws announced that they will be hosting a July 4th fireworks show immediately after their game concludes. While the best views might be seen from the ballpark itself, there are numerous spots from which to watch the show even without attending the game.
The BlueClaws game is scheduled to begin at 7 pm. Assuming the game last 2.5 to 3 hours, the fireworks show can be expected to begin somewhere around 9:30-10 pm.
Last year we waited for a very long time and then got 5 minutes of fireworks. It was pretty lame to be honest.
