BEAUTIFUL: Optical Eyeland Employees Lay Tefillin on Sales Rep for First Time in Decades [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

Employees at Lakewood glasses store Optical Eyeland on Tuesday helped lay tefillin on a man who hadn’t worn them in decades.

The man, a sales rep for glasses manufacturers, came to Optical Eyeland and engaged in conversation with Aryeh Leib D., an Optical Eyeland employee.

Over the course of the conversation, the sales rep mentioned that he was Jewish and it became clear that he had not put on tefillin in many years. Aryeh Leib offered to place them on the man, who happily obliged.

Aryeh Leib assisted in wrapping the tefillin around the man’s arm and head, and assisted him in making the brachos and saying shema.
