Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the sudden and tragic petirah of R’ Avi Grodsky, a Lakewood father of young children who was niftar at the age of 46 following complications from a recent medical procedure.
Originally from Pittsburgh, R’ Avi moved to Lakewood several years ago. He is survived by his, Naomi, a beloved morah in Westgate, and five children, the youngest of whom is only five years old.
The Levaya and Kevura are scheduled for 3:30 pm at the United Hebrew Cemetery, located at 122 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island. (Attendees are requested to enter through this entrance only.)
A fundraiser has been launched to assist his bereaved family.
