We regret to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Rivky Goldberg a”h, a longtime Lakewood resident who lived on 7th Street, just doors away from Bais Medrash Govoha.
Mrs. Goldberg a”h is survived by her children: R’ Fishel Goldberg of Toms River; R’ Shayma Goldberg of Far Rockaway; Mrs. Miriam King of Flatbush; R’ Yehoshua Goldberg of Lakewood; and R’ Sholom Goldberg of Lakewood.
The levayah will take place Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue. There will be no hespeidim. Kevurah will follow at Mount Judah Cemetery, 81-14 Cypress Avenue, Ridgewood, NY.
Shiva will be observed at the Goldberg home, 640 7th Street in Lakewood, until Monday morning. Shayma Goldberg will be sitting at his home, 1722 Brookhaven Avenue in Far Rockaway, beginning Motzei Shabbos until Monday morning. Miriam King will be sitting at her home, 2613 Avenue I in Brooklyn, beginning Motzei Shabbos.

What a wonderful woman! So geshmak and full of life. She dedicated herself to shidduchim with passion and compassion. It wasn’t a business, it was her MISSION.
Rivky, now go advocate for all the singles up there as only you know how to.

I was recently at a wedding with a really bad headache.
I told Rivky about my headache and she stayed with me in the chuppah room and asked people if anyone had tylenol or advil for me.
She never left my side until the advil was in my hand.
I was also asked to leave the chupah room and she came to my aid saying I need a couple of minutes, that I was not feeling well.
